Renaissance Faire runs in the blood for many people. These are no different. Each team member has been selected and encouraged to take their leadership role seriously. Our faire is focused on both the accurate historical beliefs of the cultures we represent at our event but also we are dedicated to being an uplifting environment of artists and artisans. We value people who wish to continue growing their leadership skills and want to be a helpful guide rather than an overlord.

Someone once told one of our directors "you can become bitter, or you can become better - choose the better." It was taken to heart and is a core understanding in our team. We believe in learning through experience—both successes and setbacks are valuable opportunities for growth. Our team thrives on collaboration, resilience, and a shared commitment to improvement. Although we are seeking managers for different realms, we are still a full team working together. We’re looking for individuals who are humble, open to feedback, and focused on the collective success of the group, rather than those seeking power or control.

Our Leadership Team

Each of our leaders have a passion for bringing to life the most wonderful of experiences! We have a dynamic-duo in our Co-Executive Directors. They have worked together managing two other renaissance faire events prior to this adventure (and even met because of faire). As the realms' leaders arise and step into the fullness of their position, their formal pictures will be added.

Lord Matthew Harrison

President & Co-Executive Director

Matthew Harrison has been around faires in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, California, Michigan and Nevada. With 10 years as an Executive Director at two PNW faires and countless hours working with/at other faires and events, his Business degree and background in hospitality and financial management has been put to good use. His pattern-watching tendancies lends itself well to being able to see trends and make reasonable forecasts. He is generally laid back but dedicated and faire is a life-passion that brought he and his wife together in the first place.

Lady Anira Harrison

Co-Executive Director

Coming to the faire scene a few years after Matthew, Anira has been highly involved in leadership with faires since 2012 but only stepped into an Executive Director role in 2014. Anira has a BA in Organizational Communications with a focus in Nonprofit Management. She has worked with numerous non-profits and helped a few launch successfully. She has worked at faires in four states and loves the feeling of faire-family she has been able to build. Anira consults for nonprofits and is glad to help. She feels strongly that we, as a community of faire folk, should be working together and lifting one another up so we can all thrive.
